My name is Stephanie and I am 25 years old. I grew up in Eastern Iowa where a lot of my family still resides. I am a self-taught crocheter that grew from the love of creating things for others to enjoy. All my friends and relatives suggested that I try to sell some of the items that I have made because of how much they loved my creations. I crochet mostly for the enjoyment and peace I get from it, but this shop helps me in being able to support my hobby and family.

When I first started out, I joined a crochet and knitting group at my church. Most of the other members are quite a bit older than me, but I enjoy the fellowship and also knowledge and tips they have to give to me. In the past we have worked on making blankets, puppets, and bags for a kids camp called Royal Family Kids for children in the foster care system. Last year I held an event and 50% of the sales went toward helping the children get to camp, which was a great success. I was also honored to be able to be a counselor to two sweet girls while there at the camp.

For the future, I hope to let this shop be my full time job as I grow in my pattern designing skills. I love every second and every stitch, and I am so blessed to feel like my job is not "work".
